Prof. dr. Arp Schnittger lab in University of Hamburg studies regulatory mechanisms of meiosis and recombination in Arabidopsis and crops, especially molecular controlling of cell division and DNA damage response. We are collaborating with Dr. Arp Schnittger on projects that aim to address the genetic mechanism underlining how heat stress suppresses DSB formation and recombination in Arabidopsis.
